What is AWANA? AWANA is an acronym for “Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed” which comes from 2 Timothy 2:15 “Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.” AWANA is an international, inter-denominational, Bible-centered ministry that provides club programs beginning at age two and continuing through High School Seniors. Our evening includes Biblical devotions, music, prayer, handbook time (discussion of Biblical message, and memory verse recitation) and game time.
Free dinner provided from 5:00 to 6:00
Adult Bible Study from 6:00 to 7:15

Join Cole Valley Christian Elementary students as they present a ragamuffin patchwork of songs and thoughts on the birth of Jesus. In the spirit of Brennan Manning and Rich Mullins, they will sing about and muse over the ragamuffin characters in the Christmas story and how Jesus stepped into our ragamuffin mess to redeem us.
