Some friends of ours saved for years to take their kids on the trip of a lifetime—Orlando! They did it all: Disney, Universal, Sea World, the Kennedy Space Center. Every moment was packed with sunshine and magic.
But on the way home, after every ride had been ridden and every picture taken, they asked their kids: What was your favorite part?
And do you know what the kids said?
The piggyback races.
From the park to the car. Just laughing, running, and holding on tight.
It’s a sweet reminder that while the big stuff is fun, the little moments—where we’re connected and present—are what our kids hold onto most.
You don’t need a perfect vacation. Sometimes the best memories are made in the parking lot.
