The Messy Middle
My husband changed jobs after twenty years. Twenty years of rhythms, relationships, and purpose — and now, a brand-new chapter.
It was good.
And I know good is still ahead.
Right now we’re in the messy middle — that strange space between what was and what will be where every emotion takes a turn every day. Excitement. Grief. Gratitude. Fear. Relief. Repeat.
And yet, even here, I see God’s fingerprints all over it.
He keeps leading — one small step at a time.
He’s already working ahead of us, preparing things we can’t see yet.
And every now and then, a tiny miracle shows up to remind us: we’re not walking this alone.
Change is rarely tidy. It’s stretching and refining and holy all at once.
But I believe this — if God was faithful in the last 20 years, He’ll be faithful in the next.
